All too often health & safety can be put across in an overcomplicated manner resulting in individuals and organisations treating the subject with a certain amount of fear. This very often results in a risk avoidance mentality that can be very damaging to organisations. Health and safety is often quoted as the reason for not doing something or not being able to offer a particular service to the detriment of all concerned. Our aim is put across health & safety in an uncomplicated common sense manner that removes the fear factor. We want health & safety to be seen as an enabler rather than a disabler, managing risk with sensible control measures rather than terminating activities or services.
